Aqua Therapy is a water based 1-on-1 treatment. It can include manual therapy, individualized, rehabilitative, stretching and strengthening exercises, addressing any combination of key fitness components (cardiorespiratory, endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility and balance) in a safe pool environment with a trained health professional. The natural properties of water (specifically buoyancy) allow the body to move easier, offload and reduce stress on the joints thereby allowing clients to perform exercises and movements normally difficult or unable to perform on land.
